The wait is almost over! With the 2024-25 NBA Season kicking off on Opening Night on October 22nd, the NBA is ready to unveil a new original series. Premiering on October 20th, “Raising 18” — a behind-the-scene docuseries chronicling the Boston Celtics’ championship season — will drop exclusively on the NBA App.
Narrated by Al Horford, the nine-episode project will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Celtics’ iconic 2023-24 season. The series opens with the offseason acquisitions of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday and culminating in the franchise capturing its record-breaking 18th NBA banner.
An inside lens on training camp all the way to Game 5 of the NBA Finals, “Raising 18” allows fans and viewers to experience the Celtics’ historic championship run to the NBA mountaintop. Through the eyes of players, coaches and team staff, we can gain a new perspective on one of the most electric Boston Celtics seasons.
