The method

Three P's, twelve weeks.

Every DSN program runs on the same spine. Produce builds the thing. Perform gets people good in front of a microphone. Promote turns a recording into something with an audience.

P1 · Weeks 1–5

Produce

Plan it, build it, capture it, cut it. From what a podcast is for through to a clean exported episode.

  • Welcome to podcasting
  • Finding your voice
  • Audio equipment
  • Video podcasting
  • Recording software & editing

P2 · Week 6

Perform

Being good on a microphone is a taught skill, not a personality type. Interviewing, presence, and holding a room.

  • Recording like a pro
  • Interviewing technique
  • Presentation skills

P3 · Weeks 7–8

Promote

A show nobody hears is a hobby. This is the part that makes it a venture.

  • Publishing & distribution
  • Platforms
  • Growth, branding, monetization

What the buyer keeps

Every competitor sells a provider who leaves. DSN certifies a member of your own staff at our Wall Street studio and licenses you the curriculum. When the twelve weeks are over, your facilitator is still certified and the materials are still yours.

Weeks 9–12

The production block.

The last four weeks are not lessons. They are a real production, run by the room, ending in a published episode and a screening.

09
Pre-production

Format locked, run of show written, guests confirmed, roles assigned.

Week 9
10
Record

Full episode captured. Every participant on a mic with a job.

Week 10
11
Post

Edit, clean, package. Artwork, titles, description, credits.

Week 11
12
Publish & showcase

Live on a platform. Screening for the room, families, or staff.

Week 12

Workshops & training

Train the room, or train the trainer.

The full series is the flagship. These are the ways in for organizations that need something shorter, or that want their own people carrying it.

On the catalog

The core curriculum is finished — both volumes, fully illustrated. Additional production modules release on a dated schedule, and we will tell you the dates before you sign rather than after.

MTSS alignment

The 3 P's How-To Series maps to your school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports as Tier 1 universal engagement, with a Tier 2 small-group option and elements that can complement a Tier 3 plan. The full tier crosswalk, dosage figures, and data-and-consent language are ready to hand to a compliance reviewer.

Pathways to entrepreneurship

A show is a business, taught as one.

The last two P's are where the program stops being a class. Participants finish with a published show, a capstone, and the beginnings of something they own.

Step 01

Build the asset

A real episode, published on a real platform, with artwork, titles, description and credits — not a classroom exercise.

Step 02

Learn the business

The Podcast Entrepreneur session covers growth, branding and monetization: sponsorship, audience, and what a show is actually worth.

Step 03

Leave with proof

A Certificate of Completion and a Podcast Producer Capstone — the published episode itself, assessed against a four-criterion rubric.

Useful things to include: roughly how many people, what kind of organization, the city, and when you would want to run it.

Please do not send participant names, rosters or recordings by email. We do not collect them.
